Herman Li

Herman Li is Chairman of the C & L Restaurant Group, a Franchisee of Burger King and Denny’s which owns and operates franchises in multiple states. He is a member of the executive committee of Burger King Corporation’s Diversity Action Council. He is also the President of the Southern California Burger King Franchisee’s Association, Burger King Asian Franchisee Association and Board Member of the National Franchise Association.

Herman currently serves on the Board of East West Bancorp (EWBC), as the Chairman of the Governance committee and member of the Audit committee. East West Bank is one of the largest banks in the United States that focuses on the Chinese American community, with total assets over $7.8 billion.

In the community service area, Herman is actively involved with important issues concerning the Asian American community, as well as issues affecting US-China relations. He is Vice-Chair of the Committee of 100, which is a national non-partisan organization composed of American citizens of Chinese descent. Each member has achieved positions of leadership in the United States in a broad range of professions.
