Lawrence B. Low
Larry Low is a founding partner of the San
Francisco office of Preston Gates & Ellis LLP. He has
extensive experience in corporate finance transactions. He
advises venture
capital investors and emerging companies in structuring start-up
and subsequent round financing, and companies and underwriters
in the public offering of debt and equity securities. He
also represents buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition
transactions.
Larry’s venture capital clients include
Rosewood Capital, L.P., Being Investments Corp., Nokia Ventures
L.P., Venture
Strategy Group and Transpac Capital Pte Ltd. His company
clients include
Advanced Pressure Technology, Bardeen Sciences, Inc., Xtronx,
Inc., EyeFinity.com, Inc., StemCyte, Inc. and Sorrent,
Inc.
Larry has served as a member of the firm’s Executive
Committee. He is a frequent lecturer and has published
numerous articles
on corporate finance matters. He has made presentations
to the Practicing Law Institute, Law Journal Seminars and the
California
State Bar, and his articles appear in publications of the
California Continuing Education of the Bar and the Practicing
Law Institute.
Larry also has leadership roles in numerous professional
and civic organizations, and was appointed by President
Clinton
in 1995 as one of four U.S. representatives to serve on
the panel
of arbitrators of the International Centre for the Settlement
of Investment Disputes. He currently serves as a trustee
of
The Hamlin School, Bay Area Discovery Museum and University
High
School.
